I know its a little too late to write about this korean love drama. But I couldnt help writing about it. I have to confess that I had just finished watching the series while you might have watched it ages ago ( it became the most-watched drama in 2006, for crying out loud, its now 2008!) This almost-cinderella tale was so captivating that I had to watch it non-stop because I was eager to know the ending. It is also known as The Imperial Household or Love In Palace. It is set in the 21st century n the story revolves around the life of the Crown Prince, the last royal family of Korea. He married the not-so-popular-and-headstrong girl, which was actually a request from his deceased-once-king grandfather. Love eventually blossoms between the two of them despite them hating each other since the marriage was politically arranged. some matters are complicated throughout the story. what was charming was that the insensitive prince became sensitive and had done things that are ever so touching and romantic. honestly, i watched because i wanted to see the romantic part. and so, i questioned myself, why men can be so romantic in movies, but not in real life? hehe....
romantic stories have always been a big No-No to boys.... wanna know why? they hate to see how romantic other men can be, and how they couldnt compete with that. they hate romantic stories, esp korean dramas because they couldnt be the perfect boyfriend a girl could wish for. They hate it because korean dramas always make them look bad as a boyfriend. =)
I dont mind that.... because i found myself a great one.... nobody's perfect, thats for sure! =)
anyway, i'm waiting to watch princess hours II.... =)
